Our Story

During each visit, Coastal Maids will conduct a thorough inspection of all aspects of your home's welfare and security. During our inspection we will walk through the inside and around the outside of your home to complete our monitoring checks (listed below) in addition to any special requests that you may have. After completion we will email you a report that lets you see everything that we have checked. If there is any issues we will also take pictures and forward them along in our report as well as a follow up phone call, from that point we can make most minor repairs ourselves or arrange to gather estimates from other local contractors for you to review. We will inspect the craftsmanship of these contractors and email you pictures of their completed work.

Below we have listed our typical inspection process. Please note that any additional services can be added as required. We also put up/take down hurricane shutters..

Interior Inspection

• Check windows, screens and doors for breaks, leaks & any security issues
  
• Check thermostat and humidistat settings 
  
• Change air filter monthly and replace at owners discretion
  
• Check electrical circuit breakers do to storms and reset as needed
  
• Run all faucets and flush toilets to ensure water traps remain full and stagnant water get flushed out
  
• Run dishwasher to keep seals from drying out and flush out stagnant water
  
• Check for signs of plumbing leaks or damage
  
• Check for signs of pest infestation
  
• Check for signs of mold and mildew
  
• Monitor all appliances (hot water heater, refrigerator, washer, etc.)

Exterior Inspection

• Check windows, screens and doors are properly secured and inspect for forced entry attempts
  
• Pick up newspapers, flyers, and other debris to keep home site clean and to help maintain an lived in appearance
  
• Inspect property for and vandalism or storm damage
  
• Sweep entry to home as needed
  
• Inspect lawn and landscaping for proper upkeep and care
  
• Inspect condition of pool/spa proper upkeep and care
• Place delivery packages inside home

Additional Services

• Run vehicle to prevent engine problems
  Water plants
  
• Accept deliveries
  
• Prepare home for your arrival (adjusting thermostat, turning on hot water, etc.)
  
• Arrange to release keys to your houseguest's when they come to visit
  
• Help you coordinate needed maintenance and repairs to your home
